In an emergency, or if you feel unsafe, call 999 first, then let us know.
Getting started
How do I get Seasonly?
Seasonly is on iPhone, and during the York pilot access is by invitation. If you’re looking for work, join the waitlist. If you’re a York business, become a founding employer. We’ll send you an invite code to sign up with.
Where do I enter my invite code?
On the sign-up screen there’s a field for your invite code. The code sets up the right kind of account for you, so jobseekers and employers use the same screen.
I didn’t get my verification or sign-in code
Codes come by email, so check your spam or junk folder first, and make sure the email address you typed is right. Codes can take a minute to arrive. If it still hasn’t come, go back and request a new one.
I’ve forgotten my password
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and we’ll email you a code to set a new one. Or type your email address and tap Sign in with email code to log in without a password.
Is there an Android or iPad version?
Not yet. Seasonly is iPhone-only for the pilot.
For jobseekers
How do I apply for a job?
Swipe right on a job in Discover, or tap Apply on a job in Browse. That’s your application: no cover letters.
I passed on a job by mistake. Can I get it back?
Yes. When you reach the end of the deck, tap See passed jobs again. You can also find the job in Browse and tap Apply again.
How do I know if an employer wants to talk to me?
When an employer accepts your application, the chat appears in your Messages tab and, if notifications are on, you’ll get one. You’ll see your applications and their status in Browse under My Applications.
Can I use my CV to fill in my profile?
Yes, it’s optional. Go to your profile, tap edit, and use the AI CV scan to fill in your experience and education. The app asks permission before sending extracted CV text, which may include contact details, to OpenAI. You can cancel. Check everything is right before you save.
Why has my chat ended?
An employer can end a chat once they’ve made a decision, and chats with no activity for 90 days close automatically. You can still read an ended chat, but you can’t send new messages.
For employers
How do I post or edit a job?
Use the Jobs tab. Add a new listing with its title, pay, dates, location and details, or tap the pencil on an existing one to edit it. Use the toggle to stop or restart hiring for a role.
How do I review applicants?
Open the Applicants tab and pick a job. Applicants are sorted by how well they fit, and you can tap any applicant for their full profile. You can also swipe through new applicants one at a time.
Can I change the automatic welcome message?
Yes. In your Profile tab you can turn the message sent when you accept someone on or off, and write your own. Many employers use it to ask for right-to-work documents.
How do I end a chat?
Tap End chat at the top of the chat and choose a reason. The reason is only for you; the jobseeker just sees that the chat has ended.
Report an employer
Every pilot employer has agreed to our fair work standards, but Seasonly does not independently verify compliance with those standards. If one isn’t sticking to them, we want to know. Report them in the app, or email hello@seasonly.co.uk with the employer’s name and what happened.
In the app: open your chat with the employer, tap ••• in the top right, then Report. By email: if you can’t use the app, the chat has ended, or you’d rather explain in more detail, email us instead.
What to report
- Being paid cash-in-hand
- Pay below the National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage for your age
- No payslip
- No written terms (your hours, pay and holiday) on or before your first day
- Unsafe work, or not being given the safety equipment you need
- Being asked to pay anything, or to share your bank details, before you’re hired
- Anything else that feels wrong
What we’ll do
- Aiden Tonyy checks reports daily; we aim to get back to you within 2 working days.
- We may pause the employer’s listings while we look into it.
- We’ll ask the employer for evidence.
- We’ll remove them from Seasonly if the concern is confirmed.
We won’t tell the employer who reported them without your permission.
Other help
- If you’re in danger: call 999.
- Questions about your pay or work rights: Acas has a free helpline.
- Not paid the minimum wage: report it to HMRC through GOV.UK.
- Unsafe workplace: report it to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
Report, block and stay safe
How do I report someone?
Open your chat with them, tap ••• in the top right, then Report. Choose a reason and add anything else we should know. Your report is saved for Aiden Tonyy to check daily and is not sent to the person you reported. Reports can also be made from listings and applicant profiles. An alert is emailed to hello@seasonly.co.uk through Brevo with the report reason, any note and a relevant report, job, application or message reference. It does not include photos or full chat history. We aim to respond within two working days. You can also email hello@seasonly.co.uk instead, for example if the chat has ended or you’d rather explain by email.
How do I block someone?
Open the chat, tap ••• in the top right, then Block. The chat ends for both of you, and you won’t see each other on Seasonly again. They aren’t told that you blocked them.
Can I undo a block?
Not in the app at the moment. Email hello@seasonly.co.uk and we’ll help.
How can I stay safe?
Never pay anyone to get a job, and be wary of anyone who asks for money or bank details before you’ve been hired. Keep conversations in the Seasonly app, only share documents like right-to-work proof once you’ve been accepted, and meet in public, work-related places. If something doesn’t feel right, report it.
Your account and data
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Profile tab and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your Seasonly account data, including related listings or applications, matches and messages, and deletes uploaded files that have no remaining shared references. Your Clerk sign-in is deleted next. If that step fails, follow the in-app recovery instructions to finish; contact us if you cannot. Provider logs and copies saved by other people may remain. See our privacy policy for the full scope and retention details.
I’m not getting notifications
On your iPhone, go to Settings, then Notifications, then Seasonly, and make sure notifications are allowed.
How long are files shared in chat kept?
Chat attachments are scheduled for deletion 30 days after the message was created. The message text remains, with a file-removed notice. Pending image uploads are scheduled for deletion after seven days if they are still pending. Save any file you need to keep.
How do you use my data?
We never sell your personal data or use it for advertising. Employers only see your profile if you’ve applied to one of their roles. Read the full privacy policy.
